This headset works great and is easy to use. Very happy with this purchase.
This is the best. I have had this headset for a couple years and it is great. So comfortable you can wear it all day and forget it is even there. I also had the Bt800 which has phone book and other stuff inside the headset. It was heavy and fell off my ear a lot. Also it block ambient noise because it use comfortable soft ear gels to direct sound right into the ear canal , instead of hanging outside the ear like a lot of headsets. range can be a little less than advertised but overall it is a great headset.
This is the most confortable bluetooth receiver that I have used including several that are much more expensive.
In the time I've spent messing with this thing I could have bought 3 of them. It would work fine for a day then drop again.
No big deal, replace the unit for $6 in shipping and a two week wait. The first unit I purchased would not take a charge.
Yes, I followed the instruction manual each time I re-paired it. The second unit worked fine for about a month.
Then I had to continue pairing it periodically since it somehow kept dropping. Now it won't pair at all and I'm finished.
There won't be a third unit.
The smaller design doesn't fit as snuggly, but it's still comfortable, and I've never had it fall off. Still, I really dislike this about Jabra headsets, and I haven't found a glue that keeps them on. The BT500 is more slim and looks more professional than the BT250v. This new BT500 seems much more sturdy and doesn't have the glued-together flexible-plastic of the BT250v. Let me start by saying that I've had 2 BT250v's in the last year, and I really like the behind-the-ear design. Sometimes I wish that I spent the extra $40 for the vibrating alert in the BT500v. The ear gels still fall off, but they seem to hold on much better than the BT250v. The sync button is great and I no longer accidentally disconnect when trying to change the volume.
This is good because I can charge it on my computer, but it's not 5-pin (like my phone) so I still need a separate charger for phone and headset. It seems to have trouble in windy or extremely noisy environments, but it's still MUCH better than my PPC6700 phone. Unfortunately, both BT250v's have broken due to overuse. The charger is a 4-pin USB connector. The call quality is good. The button layout is a big improvement and extremely easy to use. The BT500 comes with a short 6" USB cord for easy laptop charging.Overall, I'm very happy with the BT500. I think that it would last long enough to justify the cost.
